The completely renovated restaurant sits one breath from the sea and serves creative fusional cuisine based on selective local products, including meat, cheese, virgin olive oil, and herbs. Ariadne Beach sits a few meters from Platanias beach, 12 km west of Chania. Balos Lagoon, ranked No. 7 beach in the world, has white sand and vivid blue waters; Prince Charles and Princess Diana visited it with their private yacht. Chania's Archaeological Museum houses Minoan findings and treasures from the Neolithic to the Roman era, and Samaria Gorge is the longest trekking gorge in Europe.
